Easy Space Themed Party
The following post is sponsored by Cricut. All opinions are my own.
For this set up I used my new Cricut Joy to cut some vinyl figures out and totally transform my balloon garland and wall space. It was so easy to put together and it makes a party look super custom.
My daughter, Sara, has been asking me to try different themes for her upcoming birthday because she’s not sure of what she wants, perks of having a party stylist as a mom! So today I decided to make a space-themed set up for her to see.
I started by making an all-black balloon garland and adding some Mylar balloon stars. I tied to my awesome bar cart on two spots so I didn’t need to use a hook or anything on the wall (we recently painted and I’m afraid to hang anything from them).
I wanted this setup to be easy but also impactful, so out came my new Cricut Joy to play. I used Cricut’s smart removal vinyl in gold and silver, that way it’s super easy to take off the wall and it doesn’t leave any residue.
I started by cutting out her name and rockets and placing them in specific balloons, after that I cut a ton of stars and placed them randomly on a lot of balloons.
To finish off the look, I cut letters that say “to the moon and back”,I told her I wrote that because that’s how much I love her, sappy much, ha!
I placed the words and stars on the wall behind the bar cart, you could also make the name bigger and place it on the wall. I added some disco balls and gold gems into some cute containers and some loose balloons on the bottom of the cart.
If this was her real birthday I would’ve gotten a cool cake and made a topper with my Cricut, but I think the Joy looks so cute on the cake stand.

Hope you like this setup as much I did creating it!
