The following post is sponsored by Cricut. All opinions are my own.

I love giving and getting gifts. I love showing the people I love that I took the time to think of what they like, unless it’s my husband, and then I suck and can never get him the right thing, ha!

When I first discovered Etsy, I remember browsing and trying to figure out how people made the things they sold, cute pillows, personalized ornaments, and party stuff, until a friend of mine got a Cricut for Christmas and showed me what she could do, mind blown!

After that, my husband got me for my birthday a different cutting machine, which took forever to learn how to use, so many hours watching Youtube tutorials. I recently switched to a Cricut and I must say, I’m loving it!

I always got Cricut materials because I think they’re higher quality than others in the market but I didn’t get a machine until earlier this year. I think it’s so easy to use and such a great machine for a beginner. My favorite thing the cricut does is automatically separate each thing by color when you send it to cut, so easy to design and figure out which color needs to go in.

I want to give you a list of my 5 favorite Cricut machines and accesories. These will change your life, for real, handmade gifts for everyone next year.

Number 1

It’s no secret that I LOVE Cricut’s Infusible ink. They’re so vibrant, easy to use, and the result is so professional. Everyone is always so amazed when I say I made it. I’ve used it for countless gifts, the totes make an amazing teacher’s gift and a nice touch for a birthday gift.

Their blanks are so well thought of and they have so much variety. My favorites are the totes, wine bags, and cosmetic pouches.

Number 2

Cricut’s iron-on. Do you see a pattern here? I love to make clothes or ordinary items into something special. Halloween costume? No problem, done in a jiffy. Last-minute teacher’s gift? Cut their names and add them to literally anything and you’re done!

I’ve tried a lot of heat transfer’s in my crafting life and Cricut’s Iron-on is the one I keep coming back to because the quality is so good.

Number 3

I used to iron everything on with a regular iron, I thought, what’s the difference than doing it with an EasyPress? Let me tell you, there’s a huge difference! First, the EasyPress 2, you can set the exact temperature you need (this cheat sheet from Cricut is great to know exactly what you need) and you can add a timer. When you’re doing this around the kids and they’re talking your ear off this is crucial! How many times did I forget how long I had been ironing for? embarrassingly, too many. Not with the EasyPress 2, it beeps and you’re done.

The EasyPress mini is perfect for hard to reach places or small projects, like my son’s strawberry Halloween costume, so easy and it heats so fast!

Number 4

The crafting tools. I know, they’re technically all crafting tools. But their starter pack has everything you need. I’m obsessed with their crafting tweezers, so easy to do a small project and weed out your iron-on or vinyl.

Last but not least. My Explore Air 2. What can I say? From the color, I have the dreamy mint green, to the ease of use, this machine is like no other. You can cut up to 100 different materials on it. It’s Bluetooth, so I don’t need to have an extra cable hanging around and I can cut from across the room. It also has a fast cutting mode, which is great when I forget the teacher’s birthday and my son reminds me 30 mins before we have to leave, this is a true story.

And I can’t talk about the Explore Air 2 without mentioning the amazing projects on Cricut Design Space that are so easy to just press make and do it. So easy. I’m making an end of the year gift as we speak for my son’s teacher to give him today at material pick up because I totally forgot that was today, ha!

As much as I love gift-giving, I hate gifts that will just be shoved in a closet and collect dust. If you’re giving a Cricut machine or products, it’ll definitely not collect dust, and you’ll get a personalized gift for sure next year, so win-win.

Honestly, this machine has saved me so much time and everyone is always so impressed when I say I made it myself, definitely a wow factor. I love that I can give teachers and friends something meaningful for them without dealing with Etsy’s vendors or timelines, because who really remembers when your kid’s teacher’s birthday is weeks before it happens, not this girl.

Happy Holidays!
