How to make waterproof stickers with your Cricut

The following post is sponsored by Cricut. All opinions are my own.

My daughter just started middle school this year and, apparently, having a plain water bottle is a no no. Instead of buying random stickers here and there we decided to make them!

Cricut’s new printable waterproof sticker material made it so easy for me to make them. We started by finding cute images on Design Space of her favorite things, roller skating, sushi, boba, rainbows, and books.

We also wanted her name in there so I did a print and cut of her name with a different color off set. It’s important that once you print it you hide the name and only leave the offset, that way it’ll only cut the outline.

After it was printed with an inkjet printer, I added the top vinyl layer that comes in the package and is what makes the stickers waterproof. After that, it goes to my Cricut Joy Xtra and let it do its thing.

After that we just peeled the backing off and went to town decorating it. She loves it so much and is so proud to say her mom made all her stickers.

You can also use regular Sticker Paper or Printable Vinyl if you don’t need them to be waterproof.
